Attractive Proposition on Cup Day At Royal Randwick
November 7, 2023
Attractable captured the second edition of the $3 million Big Dance in what was a spectacular afternoon of racing on Cup Day at Royal Randwick.
Saluting at odds upwards of $20 on the NSW tote, Attractable chased a hot speed throughout with jockey Regan Bayliss timing his run to perfection. The pair hit the front on straightening and then held off the finishing burst of Cepheus. It was the biggest win of trainer Sara Ryan’s career.
The standout performance on the day went to Nash Rawiller which bagged a winning treble. After taking out the TAB Highway with Emperor, he then saluted in the final two races on the card thanks to Loch Eagle and Capo Strada (Toyota Forklifts Handicap).
Other highlights on Big Dance on Cup Day at Royal Randwick included:
*Jason Collett landing a double thanks to I’ve Bean Tryin’s win in the Barn Dance, complementing his victory aboard Quick Turn in the James Squire Handicap
*Molly Bourke landing a winner in town thanks to the John Sargent’s Ningaloo Star in the fourth event on the card – The Agency Real Estate Handicap
*Matthew Dunn capturing another TAB Highway, this time, with Emperor after being patiently ridden by Nash Rawiller
