ATC FOUNDATION AND ASX REFINITIV CHARITY FOUNDATION RACING FOR GOOD AT ROYAL RANDWICK SUPPORTING MULTIPLE CHARITIES

The Australian Turf Club and ATC Foundation host Racing for Good at Royal Randwick on Saturday 29 July, joining with one of the Club’s longest standing partners the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation.

The raceday also celebrates the final Sydney meeting of the 2022/23 season with a series of ATC racing awards for owners and participants, and a special appearance from popular retired racehorse Kementari.

ATC Foundation and ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation – a charity partner supporting Australian based children’s charities, will jointly raise funds and awareness on the day at a special luncheon in the Royal Randwick Ballroom. Tickets are available HERE.

Since 2018, the ATC Foundation has provided over $1 million in grant funding to not-for-profit organisations and local community partnerships in and around Sydney racecourses, including charity business partners, racing industry and volunteer groups.

Hosted by Renee Gartner, the day will feature a three-course lunch, beverages and entertainment by Vince Sorrenti, one of Australia’s most successful and popular comics.

ATC Foundation Chair Angela Belle McSweeney said: “We are thrilled to come together with partners and the racing industry to raise funds for a range of charities. We are pleased Gow Gates Insurance is supporting the Racing for Good Event, ensuring all funds raised make an impact in the community”.

For more than 50 years, Gow Gates Insurance Brokers has provided insurance coverage to better support the industry and provided the first insurance coverage to include jockeys.
