Season Highlights
A Taste of What’s to Come
Kia Friday Night Racing delivered another unforgettable Summer at Canterbury Park.
While we take a short break before returning in November 2026, here’s a look at some of the experiences guests enjoyed throughout the 2025/26 season.
FREE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT
Families soaked up relaxed nights out with free kids’ entertainment in a safe, welcoming environment, including carnival rides, jumping castles and pony rides that kept little ones smiling all evening.
Street Food Lovers Market
Sydney’s Cambridge Markets brought a mouth‑watering line‑up of up to 30 food stalls to every race night.
From street‑food favourites to standout local vendors, guests enjoyed endless variety and Summer flavours just steps from the track.
THE CANTERBURY SOCIAL
Our exclusive trackside beer garden remained a crowd favourite; the perfect place to unwind with friends, enjoy live music and settle in with a drink while taking in the vibrant atmosphere of racing under lights.
QUAYCLEAN NIGHT RIDER SERIES
The season once again featured the Quayclean Night Rider Series, where 12 jockeys competed across the season with prizemoney donated to 12 aligned charities, adding heart and purpose to every race.
IMMERSIVE RACING
Guests got closer to the action than anywhere else in Sydney.
The season showcased competitive racing every Friday night, with opportunities to visit the day stalls, watch from the rails as the field thundered past, or see star jockeys preparing in the mounting yard.
KIA VIP PARKING
The first 10 Kia drivers who pre‑registered before each race night enjoyed reserved VIP parking and a complimentary car wash (weather permitting).
Premium Dining UPGRADES
Those seeking an elevated experience enjoyed Guineas Restaurant, known for its great food and exceptional views, while the Open Terraces offered a relaxed alfresco setting ideal for entertaining guests on warm Summer nights.
Phar Lap Bar
For a casual dining option, the Phar Lap Bar on level 2 of the Clyde Kennedy Stand served up crowd‑pleasers including Wagyu beef burgers, sweet potato poutine and refreshing drinks – a perfect spot to refuel between races.
