Free Public Entry To Rosehill Gardens After Meeting Moved To Sunday
3 December, 2025
General Admission customers will be offered free entry to Rosehill Gardens this Sunday following the weekend meeting being moved back one day due to extreme heat forecasts.
Sunday’s meeting will feature ten races with slightly revised race times from the original program.
Australian Turf Club Interim CEO Steve McMahon said Sunday’s meeting would still cater for Members and public customers in shared spaces.
“We have worked closely with Racing NSW to make this decision as early as possible to prepare for the move to Sunday,’’ Mr McMahon said.
“Whilst we apologise for any inconvenience this change has on Members and our customers, horse welfare and safety is our first consideration.
“With such extreme hot weather forecast right across Saturday there was no option but to make horse and participant safety a priority and we wanted to give everyone involved extra time to revise their plans for the weekend.’’
