ATC Foundation Awards $167,832 In Grants To Charities and Racing Industry Groups

The Australian Turf Club Foundation will distribute $167,832 in funds to 15 charities and racing industry organisations as part of its ninth round of grants, continuing its commitment to supporting both the racing community and wider society.
Since its establishment in 2018, the Australian Turf Club Foundation has contributed more than $1.7 million in grants to a diverse range of initiatives and organisations.
Funds for this latest round were raised through on-course donations and fundraising activities including the sale of official Carnival pins for major events such as TAB Everest and Golden Eagle as well as auctions of saddlecloths from Group 1 Australian Turf Club races. In addition, we’re proud to host the annual Pink Lunch, supporting the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation and thanks to the generosity of our partners through ATC Business Connect, we’re able to make a meaningful impact and contribute to vital fundraising efforts.
In addition, the ATC hosts the annual Pink Lunch in aid of The Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.
ATC Foundation Chair Angela Belle McSweeney expressed her gratitude to racing fans, ATC Members and supporting organisations, noting the Foundation’s ongoing dedication to community impact.
“The ATC Foundation is proud to support both the racing industry and the local communities surrounding each of our racecourses,” Ms McSweeney said.
“On behalf of the ATC Foundation Board, our Club and our Members, I extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated or purchased merchandise to support this work.
“It has been an honour to serve as Chair of the ATC Foundation over the past three years and to witness the incredible generosity of the racing community. These contributions continue to make a real difference to so many lives.’’

| Spinal Cure Research | Spinal Cure | $5,000 | Funding to expand the clinical trial of Project Spark, a non-invasive neurostimulation via electrodes to enhance spinal cord function by sending electrical pulses into the undamaged nerves around the injury, facilitating communication between the brain and body. |
