Expect It All: Midweek Racing Comes Alive at The Big Dance on Cup Day

One of the most anticipated moments of the Sydney Everest Carnival, The Big Dance on Cup Day returns to Royal Randwick on Tuesday 4 November, inviting Sydneysiders to swap office attire for racewear and experience an afternoon of live racing, entertainment and springtime fun.

  • On Tuesday 4 November, The Big Dance on Cup Day transforms Royal Randwick into Sydney’s ultimate raceday destination – where colleagues, friends and racing fans unite for an exhilarating afternoon of live racing, vibrant entertainment and trackside fun.
  • The headline event is the $3 million, The Big Dance (1600m), for a full day of excitement and energy to continue deep into the evening with live international entertainment.

Entertainment & Atmosphere

  • UK DJ, Cassö, will light up Royal Randwick’s After the Last concert, keeping the energy high with his top mixes – including his viral track “PRADA” that earned over 1 billion streams.
  • Racegoers will enjoy a full day of entertainment and premium hospitality experiences, including the Peacock Lounge presented by Balter in the Winx Stand – a vibrant destination bringing a festival spirit to the track with DJs, live music, and flowing beers and bubbles, creating a party atmosphere from the first race to the last. Celebrity chef, George Mirosevich, headlines the menu with his Balter Beer-Battered Lobster Roll, created for all racegoers.

  • Pamper Pavilion – Delight in complimentary makeup touchups courtesy of Runway Room, express hair styling, live fashion sketches, and a complimentary glass of Chandon on arrival.
  • Whispering Angel Garden (Members Exclusive) – Relax and refresh in a refined rosé escape trackside.
  • Chandon Spritz Garden – Discover refreshing Chandon Garden Spritz sparkling wine with hand-crafted orange, open to all racegoers.
  • Peppercorn with Penfolds (Members Exclusive) – Located on the Ground Floor of the Official Stand, is a new pop-up food and wine destination. Members can enjoy Spanish-inspired share plates paired with Penfolds wines.

  • Hard Rated Terrace – A brand-new destination on Level 1 of the Winx Stand, serving refreshing Hard Rated Orange in a buzzing trackside setting.
  • TAB Stayers Lounge – A VIP zone with plush lounges, premium food and beverages, and unbeatable views of the racing.
  • Asahi Super Dry Bar – Positioned at one of the best vantage points on course, it’s the go-to for an Asahi Super Dry on tap while catching every thrilling moment.
  • Canadian Club – Serving up the ‘Perfect Serve’ with chilled CC & Dry poured straight from the tap and served fresh over ice with a wedge of lime.
  • The Riders Club, presented by Grey Goose – As Base Camp’s signature social hub, The Riders Club offers a lively trackside setting within the Members Reserve serving a selection of Grey Goose cocktails.
  • Liquid I.V. will be on site offering complimentary samples of their signature Hydration Multiplier, in the Winx Stand and ‘After the Last’, helping guests stay refreshed and energised throughout the day.
