The Australian Turf Club Board has voted to approve 59 boxes at Royal Randwick to trainer Ciaron Maher, furthering his training presence in Sydney.
The on-course stables at 8 High Street at Royal Randwick have been known as Leilani Lodge and were previously occupied by Anthony Cummings.
The Australian Turf Club opened an Expressions of Interest process before considering three final applicants.
ATC Head of Racing and Wagering Nevesh Ramdhani said the Club was pleased to welcome the Ciaron Maher stable to Royal Randwick.
“Ciaron Maher’s new stable at Royal Randwick adds further depth to the strength of training ranks in Sydney,’’ Mr Ramdhani said.
