Five Things to Expect on Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day
The historic and biggest Sydney Everest Carnival yet continues at Royal Randwick with the Group 1 $2 million Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes and fourth running of the Group 2 $2 million The Invitation.
Just a week after a sold-out modern-day record crowd on TAB Everest Day, another card of world-class racing and entertainment awaits.
Here are five things to expect Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day.
1. World-Class Racing
The 10-race card is highlighted by the Group 1 $2 million Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes with Swiftfalcon for Team Hawkes and El Castello for Anthomny Cummings the two favoured runners. The feature jumps at 4pm.
The other $2 million race on the program is the and fourth running of the Group 2 $2 million The Invitation with the Chris Waller-trained Olentia battling out favouritism with stablemate Zougotcha and Magic Time.
The program also includes the Group 2 $1 million Catanach’s Jewellers Callander-Presnell named in honour of legendary newspaper and media figures Ken Callander and Max Presnell.

2. Excitement in the Peacock Lounge
Don’t miss your chance to share in the excitement of new destination in the Winx Stand, Royal Randwick this Sydney Everest Carnival. Open for only two more days and this being the final Saturday, the Peacock Lounge will be the place to be and is open to all racegoers. Guests will enjoy premium food including Yum Cha and an impressive James Squire bar will be serving beers and bubbles all day. There will be a rotation of epic DJs bringing the venue to life all alongside great racing action trackside.

3. Delicious Eats & Drinks
Enjoy a great selection of food including delicious Yum Cha in the Peacock Lounge, serving up cult-favourites like steamed pork buns, satay chicken skewers and lobster spring rolls, as well as the must try item on the menu, the Prawn and Water Chestnut dumplings devised by celebrity chef Hayden Quinn. There will be a variety of food outlets on the day to ensure everyone’s taste’s are catered for. Look out for the Smokehouse serving up some of the favourites.

Sisters Savannah and Briony push genres and bring their electric vibes to the dance floor, connecting with audiences in a unique way. Immersed in music from a young age they are hugely popular in club culture finding their way to Sydney’s hallowed clubs.
