FIVE THINGS TO EXPECT ON TAB GOLDEN SLIPPER DAY

Rosehill Gardens plays host to one of the biggest racedays on the Australian calendar – TAB Golden Slipper Day.

After a hugely successful start to the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival last Saturday (Chandon Ladies Day) at the venue, this will be the second of three consecutive meetings that Rosehill Gardens.

Here are FIVE things not to miss at Rosehill Gardens on TAB Golden Slipper Day.

1. Australia’s biggest day of Group 1 racing
Headlined by the $5 million TAB Golden Slipper – the world’s richest race for two-year-olds – there are a total of five Group 1 races. Along with the Golden Slipper there is the SKY Racing Rosehill Guineas, The Agency George Ryder Stakes, Kia Ora The Galaxy and the Ranvet Stakes. All up, close to $10 million in prizemoney will be distributed throughout the afternoon.
The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained youngster Storm Boy has been installed a hot $2.10 favourite with TAB Fixed Odds. The boom galloper has won all four career starts so far.

2. TAB Lobby and TAB Penthouse

Renowned chef Hayden Quinn will be on hand to serve his limited edition pulled pork burger boasting a special recipe he has cooked up for The Smokehouse that will feature during the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

The 2024 Autumn Fashion Stakes is sure to be as competitive as the racing will be on the track! Create your finest Autumn look, complete with shoes, headwear and accessories. The theme for the day will be ‘a touch of gold’, so head on over to the Pamper Pavilion to enter or simply scan one of the QR codes on course. There are over $15,000 in cash and prizes to be won!
