Royal Randwick Redevelopment

The Australian Turf Club has now completed its $150million investment into a new state of the art grandstand and spectator facility. This redevelopment includes a five storey grandstand, theatre of the horse and owners and trainers pavilion along with a large amount of the surrounding grounds. The new facility has been open since September 2013 and has been the home of some amazing racing in Spring 2013. The new facility is not only exceeding race day expectations, the facility has been booked for hundreds of non race day functions with outstanding feedback in all areas.

A masterplan is continuing to be pursued for the greater Royal Randwick Precinct which is proposed to include three new light rail stops, new horse stabling, hotel facilities, club and retail outlets and future growth of the racing precinct.
