  • Sky Racing Spring Luncheon 2014

    Join SKY personalities and racing luminaries for the annual Sky Racing Spring Luncheon returning to the Ballroom of the Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand at Royal Randwick on Friday 19 September 2014.

    Get all the inside tips on this year’s Spring Carnival from the experts. There’ll also be lucky door prizes and auction items.

    Event commences at 12.00pm and ends at 3.00pm. Guests may proceed to the official after lunch venue (TBC) from 3pm.

    $140.00 per person inclusive of a three course menu, 3hr beverage package, complimentary parking and entertainment. Reserve a full table of ten to request a position closer to the stage.

  • Ballroom Winter Special, Level 2, Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand

    The Ballroom is prominently positioned on Level 2 of the Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand at Royal Randwick with excellent views of the home straight, winning post and super screen – the largest in the southern hemisphere. It features an undercover outdoor balcony with seating and access to amenities and betting facilities as well as a Terrace with views of the ‘Theatre of the Horse’ and CBD skyline.

    ∙ Complimentary infield parking via High Street

    *Temporary bars will be available for purchasing of drinks on consumption. Bar tabs will not be available.

    Situated in an outdoor, undercover area overlooking the Winning Post, your private open air terrace seats six guests and comes fully equipped with everything you require to ensure all your race day needs are catered for.

    ∙ A contemporary grazing menu served at intervals throughout the day

    A deluxe picnic hamper is an ideal way to enhance your race day experience.  Make the most of your day by having a picnic on one of our lawn areas and absorb the racing atmosphere.

    Deluxe hamper for your picnic are packed with a delicious array of cold selections including seafood, chicken, meat, salad, cheese and fruit.

    Deluxe Picnic Hampers include:
    King prawns served with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce
    Hot, smoked Cootamundra lamb served with garlic aioli
    Sicilian chicken served with rustic tomato and olive chutney
    Char grilled vegetable antipasto served with hummus
    Chef’s selection of salads inclusive of mixed leaf served with balsamic dressing

    Bar platters provide a casual alternative to race day dining. Bar platters include a variety of hot and cold menu items to suit all tastes. These platters are a very convenient and popular way to entertain with a group of friends.

    Assorted vegetable quiche (1pp)
    Mini sausage roll (1pp)
    Australian cheese platter served with fruit, muscatels and crisp-breads.
